6 days!

6 days!!!! OMG!!
I will be in The Magic Kingdom this time next week!!

I can't believe the trip is almost here! Been looking forward to it for 7 months and it is only a few more days away! I just hope our trip doesn't go too fast and that we get to enjoy it! I want us to do soo much but I also don't want to rush. I think though, that since we have park hopper tickets, it will be much easier to enjoy ourselves, instead of trying to do everything in a day! Plus we get extra time in the parks the days we arrive and leave which is awesome!
I am soo excited to meet up with some of my Disney friends! I just got a great surprise in the mail today from 2 very good friends, Jen & Mark, who I can't wait to meet and give big hugs too! They have been incredible friends the past year and very supportive to me!

Soo excited to have my own Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom cards for me and Kayla to start with and to be able to collect 5 more each time we go to MK...so guess what, we will be making stops every day! I am looking forward to playing the game, I have read so many positive reviews about it. I may enjoy it more than Kayla! lol

Gonna start packing tonight and tomorrow so this weekend we can grab whatever else we need. I know we need to find a point and shoot camera for Mom and Kayla to use, so hopefully Toys R Us, Best Buy, or Target, or WalMart will have a good deal....any recommendations? I have to get a couple memory cards too for my camera, I have tons of batteries and am taking the rechargeable ones too! Gonna look for a memory card too for my phone so I can take pics!

Everything is ready to go otherwise...just have to print out our boarding passes on Monday for the airport and our reservations for our ADRs and resort and we should be good to go!

Can't wait!!!

2 weeks!!

Today is exactly 2 weeks until we are in Walt Disney World!!!!!

Kayla and I went out last night and started buying a few things for the trip...a pack of 8 Lithium batteries for my camera (gonna get 1 more pack too...I take LOTS of pictures!), a new Eeyore shirt for me, a bathing suit for Kayla, and a new piece of carry-on luggage for me!

Gonna be going out later this afternoon and Thurdsday to look for a bathing suit for me and a few more shirts. I have 2 pairs of jean capris I will be wearing, and my Disney croc sandals, and a pair of gym shoes.  I want to start packing and have things ready by the middle of next week!

Have to let Kay's teacher know she will be missing 4 days of school and see if she will have any work for us to take with. Gonna still have Kay do some work while we are down there, even if it's just the big workbook I have for her.

The week of vacation, then the week after will be busy, busy, busy! We have to take her ballet recital pictures before we leave, since her class does their's while we are gone. Then we will be gone on our trip, then when we come back, there is a dress rehearsal, then a few days of school, then the recital and finally Kayla's kindergarten graduation!! Plus add in the days I may be working!!

Gonna be enjoying the vacation with all the other craziness in store!!

Still can't believe the trip is almost here, it's been so fun with anticipating it and planning ADRs and special extras! I almost don't want the trip to happen, cause then I won't have anything to look forward too...until I work more on the November WDW Radio 2.0 Cruise!! LOL

I added on the Pirates League for Kayla for Wednesday...that should be fun! Then we are even getting to meet up with my travel agent, Jan, from Mei-Mousefan Travel! I am soo excited to meet her!! I actually will be meeting a few of my online Disney friends throughout the week and am so excited to meet all of them as well!

Been thinking of all the attractions and rides we will be doing...and I am somewhat nervous about taking Kayla on Astro Orbitors...it's kinda high!! Guess we will decide when we get there! Looking forward to Small World, COP, Haunted Mansion, Star Tours, Tower of Terror, and especially Expedition Everest...I have not yet ridden this roller coaster, but I did get to see it being constructed back in 2004...so I am very excited to ride it!

Also very excited about heading over to Beaches and Cream to try a Kitchen Sink!! And seeing Yee Ha Bob over at Port Orleans Riverside!!

New character Merida is supposed to be beginning her meet and greets while we are down there! I am looking forward to BRAVE and I have seen a few of the test meet and greets online this past week, so I am looking forward to meeting her!

Star Wars weekends!! Of course, this is the huge reason of why we chose to go!! I have always wanted to go to this event and in 2 weekends I will be able to experience it! Not gonna be crazy but I want us to be able to meet Mickey and Minnie and friends dressed up in SW costumes, and seeing the Hyperspace Hoopla and buying a few Vinylmations and Muppet SW toys!! Don't know yet if we want to do any autographs, the only main celeb will be Ray Parks who portrayed Darth Maul, not really a huge fan of his, but my BFF Tanya is, so I may try to get his autograph for her! Gonna try to rent a couple of the movies from the library so I can show Kayla, so she understands a little more the story, wehave seen parts of it before but never the full movie together.
